Myths & Misconceptions About Chemical Hardeners for Concrete Surfaces
Myths and Misconceptions is a one-hour program that completely details the benefits, use and composition of concrete chemical hardeners. This program introduces the concept of "the near surface wear zone" and investigates the causes and cures of early surface wear. Installation methods and a thorough discussion regarding the proper time for application are also included. Other topics include the beneficial use of chemical hardeners with mineral aggregate shake-on floor hardeners and how to attain the optimum depth of penetration for maximum protection. This program is a fact-filled hour that is presented using the power point format with an accompanying workbook. This program is designed to inform and educate the novice and experienced user and/or specifier of concrete materials. Attendees will receive one learning unit/hour of credit from the American Institute of Architects.

Concrete Problems and Solutions
Concrete Problems and Solutions is a one-hour program that undertakes to discuss the causes and solutions for the most common problems that occur in concrete. Among the topics covered are cracking, dusting, delamination and bug holes. This program is a fact-filled hour that is presented using the Powerpoint format with an accompanying workbook.

This program is designed to inform the novice as well as the experienced user or specifier of concrete materials. Attendees will receive one learning unit/hour of credit from the American Institute of Architects.

Both programs are presented by L&M Construction Chemicals, an AIA education Passport Provider. They are fully accredited and offered in cooperation with the American Institute of Architects, Continuing Education System.
